Vehicle Parts Sales Assistant

Motorgreen Group Ltd is one of Nottingham’s largest and most established vehicle dismantling and recycling operations. For over 25 years, we’ve been supplying high-quality, reliable vehicle parts and spares to trade and private customers across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and beyond.
Due to continued business growth, we are looking for a motivated Vehicle Parts Sales Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Parts Sales Assistant, your duties will include:
- Communicating professionally and effectively with customers and colleagues
- Adding green car parts to the company database accurately
- Processing customer orders and taking payments in a timely manner
- Performing quality control checks before dispatching parts to customers
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in your work area
- Moving objects around the warehouse using pallet trucks and safe lifting guidelines
- Ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety policies and regulations
Skills and Expertise
The ideal candidate will have:
- Automotive knowledge – a sound understanding of car parts and components is beneficial
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment (preferred but not essential)
What we offer:
- Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, plus 3 in 4 Saturdays, 9.00am-1.30pm.
