Senior Care Assistant – Cariad Care North Wales

Cariad Care North Wales is looking for a compassionate, motivated, and flexible Senior Care Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team. If you have experience in care and are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients to live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes. Person-centred care is at the heart of everything we do, and every decision is made with the individual's wishes and wellbeing in mind.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with all aspects of their care needs, including physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support.
- Deliver high-quality personal care while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.
- Administer medication safely and accurately in line with company policies.
- Carry out spot checks to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Complete client assessments and care reviews.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health and wellbeing to the management team.
- Cover care calls when required, including picking up uncovered visits and providing sickness cover.
- Participate in the on-call rota, including weekends.
- Complete care calls as part of a rota.
- Work closely with colleagues and management to deliver exceptional care.
- Support and encourage other members of the care team.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all care is delivered in accordance with company policies and best practice.
What We're Looking For
- Previous care experience is essential.
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification is preferred.
- A kind, compassionate, and caring nature.
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to respond to the needs of the service.
- Confident working independently and as part of a team.
- Motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
- A genuine passion for providing outstanding person-centred care.
