Ashcourt Plant are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of a wide range of heavy plant and quarry equipment, helping to keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
About You
- Previous experience as a Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter or Heavy Plant Engineer.
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on construction, quarry or recycling plant.
- Able to diagnose faults and carry out repairs with minimal supervision.
- Good understanding of health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Reliable, practical and able to work well as part of a team.
A proactive approach to preventing breakdowns and minimising downtime.
NVQ level 3 in plant maintainace
Location Yorkshire/north east
Starting from £19 ph (40 hours per week overtime at x1.5 per hour)
Van included
Experience with excavators, dumpers, crushers, screens, rollers and loading shovels would be advantageous.
