Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Guest Room Cleaner to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all visitors. Previous experience in hotel or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided. Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Replenish supplies such as toiletries, towels, and linen to ensure guest needs are met
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues or damages and report them promptly
- Ensure all areas meet health and safety standards in line with company policies
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation throughout all assigned rooms
- Assist with laundry duties when required and ensure linen is stored correctly
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and procedures to guarantee consistency and quality
Skills
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is desirable
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude towards guests and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
