We are a family owned local furniture business which is growing every year, we currently have 4 large furniture stores around Yorkshire.
We are looking to employ, on a permanent basis, a full time Van Delivery driver who will ensure that our award winning customer service continues throughout the delivery process and beyond. All our vehicles are 3.5 tonne high cube Luton vans and can be driven on a standard car licence.
Deliveries are made both locally and throughout the UK as we have a significant online business as well as covering deliveries for up to 4 of our stores. Drivers are generally required to work 40hours per week across a 4 day period.
Drivers are also expected to assist with warehouse work as required.
In addition to a competitive salary there will be a requirement to work some overtime which will boost pay (overtime rate is time x 1.5) additional overtime also generally available weekly if requested. Some of our drivers have added around 40% to their salaries through overtime in recent years, with an additional overtime hourly rate of £19.06
Place of work will be in HU3 area.
