Job Overview
As a CCTV Operative in the drainage industry, you will mostly be expected to use drainage cameras to inspect, and produce reports of any defects found covering a range of settings from commercial sites to domestic properties. You must have a positive can-do attitude, and be able to work efficiently and to the highest standard both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Operate CCTV inspection equipment to assess the condition of drainage systems accurately
- Use power tools and hand tools to clear blockages or carry out repairs efficiently
- Follow health and safety protocols during all operations, ensuring a safe working environment
- Working in and around the Hull area
- Expected to produce consistently accurate surveys and reports
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team of other drainage engineers and groundworkers in a fast-paced environment
- Push rod and crawler camera experience is preferred
- Preferred experience in patch lining and drain realigning to carry out defect work and repairs
- Win Cam experience preferred but not essential
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence
- Flexible can do attitude
- Understanding of site plans and ability to produce accurate drawings
- Understanding of drain construction and layouts
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
We work predominantly between 8am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and participation in a 24 hour callout rota including weekends and evenings.
Wage to be negotiated based on experience.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
