Overview:
We currently have a two vacancies, one being an experienced and talented Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including food production, menu planning, and team management. If you have a passion for creating delicious dishes and leading a culinary team, we would love to hear from you. The second vacancy is for someone who has some experience and is looking to further their career by helping and assisting our chefs and be willing to learn and work hard in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and innovative menu items
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards and regulations
- Oversee food production to maintain quality and consistency
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop seasonal menus and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Assist in food preparation as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Creativity and passion for creating unique and delicious dishes
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with team members and management as part of a team
