Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Provide attentive guest service, addressing any enquiries or concerns courteously.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities.
- Clear tables efficiently and maintain cleanliness in the dining area throughout shifts.
- Assist with basic food safety procedures and ensure compliance with hygiene standards.
- Support with food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations or assisting in the kitchen.
- Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills.
- Handle cash or electronic payments accurately at the end of each shift.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; full training will be provided for motivated individuals.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.
