Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by preparing treatment rooms and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and other treatments
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments to uphold safety standards
- Manage patient records accurately using Exact SOE and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements
- Provide clear communication to patients about treatment plans, post-care instructions, and answer any questions they may have
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow.
- Ensure the dental practice operates efficiently by organizing supplies, maintaining equipment, and supporting team coordination
Requirements
- Valid GDC registration
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental setting or similar healthcare environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and external providers
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities seamlessly
- Knowledge of nursing principles, infection control procedures, and dental practice protocols
