About The Role
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative finance team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day accounting activities across the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative or early finance experience who enjoys a varied role and wants to make an immediate impact within a growing and innovative company.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase invoices and matching to purchase orders and delivery notes
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing and processing supplier payments (BACS)
- Supporting monthly reporting and period-end processes
- Managing company credit card reconciliations
- Assisting with sales ledger tasks, including allocating customer receipts
- Providing regular administrative support to the Sales department (Sales Admin tasks).
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- Supporting timesheet collation and overtime tracking
- Collaborating with teams across the business during busy periods
✅ What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Experience in an administrative role
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Desirable:
- Experience in a finance or accounts environment
- Knowledge of purchase ledger processes or basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Opera or similar)
