REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire
We are looking to recruit an energetic and ambitious home-based sales manager to sell across Notts & Derbs and join our dynamic, friendly team.
SUMMARY
As the UK's biggest geolocated luxury lifestyle site for ABC1 women, we help our readers make the most of their precious free time, focusing on the best things to do, fashion, beauty, hospitality, schools, property and food and drink.
As Sales Manager for Notts/Derbs you will liaise with the very best local businesses within the county to grow our reputation and increase regional revenue.
SPECIFIC TASKS
- Grow revenue within your county across a range of products and hit quarterly sales targets
- Work with the Notts/Derbs editor to pinpoint the best businesses and support credible editorial
- Build/nurture your commercial relationships on social media
PERSONAL QUALITIES
- Urbane, cosmopolitan with great taste
- Charming, charismatic and fun - you can get along with everyone
- Motivated and organised
- Living in Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire with a strong knowledge of the county is essential
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- A proven sales record - ideally in publishing / media sales
- An understanding of how digital publications, sponsorship, PRs and advertising work
- A good grasp of social media
- An innate understanding of the Muddy Stilettos reader and what makes our platform unique
- Good phone skills
- Knowledge of CRM systems
REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS
- Freelance role, 2-3 days per week initially. More days possible if successful with sales
- Flexible hours
- Full sales/ marketing collateral and support from our central team
- Uncapped commission
