Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes efficiently and safely
- Use power tools and construction equipment like excavators and irrigation systems to support landscaping projects
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Support installation projects by preparing sites, digging trenches, laying sod, or planting new greenery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality standards
- Follow safety procedures diligently during all tasks to promote a safe working environment for everyone involved
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools and small machinery is an advantage
- Construction experience or familiarity with excavation equipment such as excavators enhances your suitability for this role
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems and general garden care is beneficial
- Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of horticultural principles helps in maintaining healthy landscapes and plant health
