As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Welder/Fabricator to join our experienced boatbuilding team.
The Opportunity

The role is workshop-based and involves safe access to boats using steps, ladders, and work platforms.
Key Responsibilities
As a Welder/Fabricator, you will be involved in all aspects of the boatbuilding process, including:
- MIG welding and fabrication
- Cutting, measuring, and marking out materials
- Manufacturing bespoke steel components and structures
- Working with mild steel ranging from 3mm to 10mm thickness
- Reading and following engineering drawings and specifications
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and accuracy
- Meeting production targets while ensuring quality standards are achieved
- Following established engineering procedures and health & safety practices
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience or basic knowledge of welding and fabrication
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Is reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
- Is eager to learn new skills and develop within the industry
- Works well independently and as part of a team
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 - 13:30
- Enjoy an early finish every Friday
