Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Warehouse Operative / Multi-Site Handyperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating warehouse operations across multiple sites, ensuring smooth materials handling and stock management. In addition to this, we'd like to give you the opportunity to become our assigned handyman/woman, assisting with any tasks fixing/building pieces of equipment presenting skills on top of working within our warehouses. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized environment, supporting the overall logistics and operational needs of our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your mechanical skills, construction knowledge, and warehouse experience in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and across multiple sites - Training & certification provided
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track stock levels accurately
- Handle materials with care during stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes
- Perform heavy lifting tasks to support the movement of goods and equipment as required
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure safety and functionality
- Assist with construction or refurbishment projects on-site, applying your construction experience and mechanical knowledge
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored or dispatched
- Support stock replenishment activities to maintain optimal inventory levels across all locations
Qualifications
- Warehouse experience with a strong understanding of stock management procedures (Required)
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts in a busy environment (Desired)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) (Desired)
- Mechanical knowledge or construction experience that can be applied to maintenance tasks. (Required)
- Good knowledge of tools, and how to use them! (Required)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and documentation
- Language: Englished (Required) & Hindi (Desired)

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
