Sales Assistant – Trespass, Ambleside
Are you into the outdoors and good with people? Trespass is looking for a Sales Assistant to join the team at our Ambleside store.
Contracted hours: 4
Availability needed:
Available to work across Saturdays & Sundays
Other availability is preferred to cover where required.
What you'll be doing:
- Greeting customers and helping them find the right gear for what they're doing
- Getting to know the product range – clothing, footwear, and accessories – so you can give customers a straight answer
- Helping the Store Manager with displays, stock levels, and keeping the shop floor in order
- Working the till and handling cash and card transactions
- Keeping the store clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Pulling together with the team to hit sales targets
What we're after:
- Retail experience is a bonus, not a must
- Good communication skills – you're comfortable talking to people
- Genuine interest in the outdoors and willingness to learn about the gear
- Flexible to work shifts across the week, including weekends
