Altrad are currently looking for an experienced Rope Access Electrician Level 1 or 2 to join the team at MGT - Teesside for site works.
This role will involve working 38 hour weeks Monday - Friday, with an immediate start available.
The position is paid under local agreements (£31.26 per hour )

Role and Responsibilities:
To carryout rope access works in a safe and professional manner.
Main activities include Atex inspections, panel detectors, calibration of transmitters and basic electrical scope in addition to supporting the site team with dropped objects audits and other trade specific tasks. ·
Capable of rigging ropes, undertaking Level 1 and 2 rescues, and carrying out rope access tasks under the direct supervision of an IRATA Level 3 Supervisor
Have a good understanding of relevant work techniques, current legislation and safety bulletins. ·
Have a good understanding of the current IRATA ICOP & TACS.
What we are looking for:
IRATA Level 1 or 2 certification (with up-to-date and in date IRATA Logbook).
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in electrical installation
Compex trained (05/06 required)
Refresher training to be undertaken before carrying out operational duties if you have not been engaged in rope access works (as per IRATA TACS Logbook requirements) for six months or more.
Certification relating to specific trade / task being undertaken to be valid and in date.
