Job Overview
Luxury 71 bedded care home which has 2 residential floors and 1 for residents experiencing Dementia. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant (Nights) to join our team in providing high-quality care within a care home setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during daytime hours. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others while working in a supportive and professional environment.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, respecting their dignity and privacy.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Help residents with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to individual care plans.
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to the senior team promptly.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided in accordance with organisational policies.
- Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Foster a warm, friendly environment by providing emotional support and companionship.
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for successful applicants.
- Knowledge of care plans and understanding of individual resident requirements is advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Basic IT skills are beneficial for documentation purposes.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation needs if required.

Pay: £13.71 per hour
