Salary: NJC L3 pts 6 -8 (£20,043 - £20,852)

Overview of the job
We are looking for someone to join us as a Facilities Assistant within one of our schools, with the possibility of supporting a group of schools in one of our clusters to directly support and assist the Facilities Manager in all areas of the general maintenance, care and upkeep of the school’s buildings, grounds and facilities. Ideally, the ability to carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other general repairs around the school site would be advantageous.
The role will include ensuring that the school site is maintained to a high standard at all times which will include undertaking opening and closing duties for the site. The work will include supporting with any set up within the school site and receiving/recording any deliveries.
If you feel you have the right mix of good communicational skills, a general understanding of Health & Safety practices, competent in basic DIY, and can work as part of a team, then we would welcome an application from you.
