Fazakerley Children’s Centre Nursery is a 60 place Early Years setting located within the shared site of Barlows Primary School and Fazakerley Children’s Centre, in the heart of Fazakerley.
The Early Years setting caters for babies to children of 4 years old, offering daily child care and wrap around between the hours of 8am-6pm for 51 weeks of the year. (Week 52 is when the setting is closed for Christmas).
Shifts are on a rota between 7:45am-6pm across 5 days per week.
The Early Years setting, is led and managed by Barlows Primary School Leadership Team and Governing Body; registered as its own Early Years setting. The setting also benefits from the opportunity to work in partnership with the onsite Children’s Centre and Barlows Primary School.
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Assistant to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of young children within a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about early childhood education and childcare management to contribute positively to children's growth and learning. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, a caring attitude, and relevant experience in nursery settings.

Applicant Qualifications Required:
- NVQ Level 2 Qualification or Equivalent in relevant Early Years aspect
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above GCSE / Relevant Level 2 qualification in Maths and English, or equivalent.
