Climatemp Limited is looking for a motivated Trainee Air Conditioning Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the air conditioning industry. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, learning to service, maintain, repair and commission a wide range of commercial and domestic air conditioning systems.
What you’ll be doing:
● Assisting engineers with service, maintenance and repair work.
● Learning fault-finding, diagnostics and commissioning.
● Using specialist tools and equipment safely.
● Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
● Working towards recognised industry qualifications, including F-Gas.
What we’re looking for:
● An engineering or mechanical mindset is essential. You should enjoy understanding how things work, solving technical problems and working with tools and equipment. Whether your experience comes from mechanics, engineering, construction, manufacturing, maintenance, hobbies or DIY, you must have a genuine interest in practical engineering.
● A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
● Good practical ability and attention to detail.
● Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
● Good communication skills.
● Full UK driving licence (preferred but
not essential).
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
