About the Role
As a Challenging Behaviour Support Worker, you will facilitate enjoyable short-break sessions in the home or community, helping children and young people with:
- Communication, routines, and independence skills.
- Personal care (when required).
- Activities such as sensory play, outdoor walks, arts & crafts, games, and community outings.
- Ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and engaged.
Short Breaks sessions are typically scheduled after school, on weekends, or during holidays.
We’re Looking For Individuals Who Have:
- Male and female candidates welcome
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach.
- Good communication skills and reliability.
- The ability to work confidently in a home or community setting.
- Experience for this position is a must, you will need experience in supporting children, young people, autism, or learning disabilities
- This is a permanent, ongoing role. Applicants must have full, unrestricted work rights in the UK and the ability to work here on a permanent basis without employer sponsorship.
- You must hold a Enhanced Adult and Child DBS on the update service to start this role
