Join us for a Summer Volunteer Work Placement at Caer Rhun Hall, Conwy.
Set within 17 acres of beautiful Grade II listed gardens in the Conwy Valley, this hands-on placement offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience and explore career pathways in horticulture, conservation, and land-based industries.
During the placement, you will gain experience in:
- Propagation (seeds and cuttings)
- Plant identification
- Tree care and maintenance
- Polytunnel management
- Tool and machinery use
- Grounds and border maintenance
- Planting and garden design
You will be mentored by our Head Gardener Julie and Assistant Gardener Daniel, who will provide expert guidance throughout the programme.
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 3:00pm
On successful completion, participants will receive:
- A gardening gift pack
- Career and study information
- A professional reference letter
