We want you to bring Care and Leadership skills as a Clinical Podiatrist.
HappyFeetUK (Derby) Limited is a knewly-established foot health and podiatry practice based in Mickleover, dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate self employed Lead Podiatrist.
The ideal candidate will be willing to commute to Mickleover.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive consultations & assessments of patients' foot health & Podiatry Services.
- Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual chiropody needs & education /advice on footwear, Foot strength and Mobility or orthotics.
- Deliver effective podiatry interventions such as diabetic foot assessments, or peripheral neuropathy examinations.
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance and preventative care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records using 'Cliniko' in accordance with professional standards and legal requirements.
- Directly supervise unregistered Foot health practitioners within the practice.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary associates and allied health professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maybe even Travel between various community locations to provide accessible mobile podiatry services.
Skills
- HCPC registration as a Podiatrist
- Clinical Experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively explain treatment options and health advice to patients of all ages.
- Experience of directly supervising unregistered clinical colleagues, including Foot Health Practitioners (FHPs), with responsibility for providing appropriate clinical oversight, guidance and support to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes. ‘Cliniko’
- Organised with excellent time management skills to manage appointments efficiently across multiple sites.
- Compassionate approach with a commitment to delivering patient-centred care. This role offers an engaging opportunity for a qualified Podiatrist to make a meaningful difference within the community while developing their professional expertise in a supportive environment.
Must Have
- Enhanced DBS Checked
- First Aid Certification
- HCPC Registration
- Private Clinical Experience
- Public, Professional Liability/Indemnity Insurance.
- (Self-Employed) Have your own company registered available on companies house
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £60.00-£70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8.0 – 16.0 per week
