Ovieya London is a growing Beauty Members’ Lounge in North London offering hair, nails and beauty services alongside memberships, events and private bookings.
We are expanding our nail team and are looking for experienced Acrylic Nail Technicians.
Our existing nail talent is currently weighted towards gel/BIAB services, so this recruitment round is specifically focused on strengthening our acrylic offering.

We care about technical quality, consistency, reliability and speed — not follower count.
We are looking for someone who genuinely specialises in acrylic and can deliver a consistent professional standard within appropriate salon appointment timings.

- Acrylic infills
- Acrylic overlays
- Extensions
- Repairs
- Removals
- Short through long-length sets
- Strong shaping and structure
- Correct apex placement
- French finishes
- Nail art
- Appropriate aftercare and rebooking recommendations
- Maintain excellent hygiene, sanitation and workstation standards
- Work within appropriate service timings and manage appointments efficiently
Essential requirements
- Proven professional acrylic experience
- Excellent product control
- Strong shaping and structure
- Clean prep and finishing
- Ability to work efficiently
- Relevant nail qualification or recognised professional training
- Strong understanding of nail health and safe service practice
- Professional treatment insurance
- Right to work in the UK
- Reliable and punctual
BIAB/gel experience is welcome, but acrylic ability is the priority.
Desirable
- Advanced nail-art skills
- E-file experience
- Sculpted acrylic experience
- French and detailed design work
- BIAB and gel-manicure skills
Contractor arrangement
This is a self-employed freelance contractor position.
Pay:
- £65 half shift — up to 5 working hours
- £105 full shift — up to 8 working hours
Shifts are offered according to salon demand, bookings and your availability. There are no guaranteed minimum hours or shifts.
