Specialist Litigation Firm - Expanding firm seeks paralegals for litigation practice
We act for one of the largest legal expense insurers in the UK in respect of Landlord and Tenant work and we seek to recruit staff to work within this sector and assist in expanding the firm’s reputation and expertise in this sector.
There will be opportunities to work in other sectors which includes commercial litigation and regulatory work.
Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegals to join our legal team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in legal research, document preparation, and case management. Duties
- Draft, review, and organise legal documents, reports, and correspondence
- Manage case files ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Assist with the preparation of court filings and submissions in accordance with deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Support the legal team with administrative tasks as required
Experience
- Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to legal practice management is advantageous
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
