Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician to join our team in the manufacturing of high-quality power solutions. Producing and maintaining battery systems across a range of exciting markets including EV, Marine & Submarine, Robotics and Defence.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and sub-assemblies to a final configured product, utilising SPOPs, drawings/ build instructions and specialised tooling and fixtures.
- Stage inspection of product at required intervals to verify work conforms with defined tolerances and specification criteria.
- Evaluate customer returns to determine actions required to restore build standard.
- Collaborate with Engineers and other team members to address production challenges and implement process improvements.
- Adhere to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Potentially soldering components and wiring.
- Complete production-related documentation accurately.
- Support inventory management and stock control for components.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
Core Skills & Experience
- Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and quality, with a commitment to producing high-quality electro-mechanical products.
- Ability to follow SPOPs and build instructions and test documentation.
- Flexible approach with the ability to support other activities within a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- A working knowledge of MRP systems, Production Control systems and Electro-mechanical Manufacturing Techniques.
- A working knowledge of batteries is a plus.
