Summary
We are seeking a Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant team at St Mary's Playgroup & Wrap Around Provision in. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality care, and supporting children's development. Join us in making a positive impact on young lives while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the playgroup and wrap-around services.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance, support, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
- Develop and implement engaging educational activities tailored to children's needs.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and the local community.
- Monitor children's progress and ensure their safety at all times.
- Manage administrative tasks.
- Promote a positive team culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience managing/ Leading early years or childcare settings. (min 2 years)
- Hands on! leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Maths GCSE
- Childcare qualifications or relevant early childhood education credentials. (level 3 or Above)
- Ability to work effectively with children, staff, and parents.
- Valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of local regulations governing childcare services.
- Passion for early childhood development, PLAY and education.
