Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, salads, or baked goods to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Follow strict food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and quality standards are met at all times
- Manage cash register transactions accurately, including handling cash, card payments, and issuing receipts
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee-making equipment is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to serve customers efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food preparation and customer service
