Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Business Development Manager (Fire/Electrical) to help support the ongoing growth of our Fire and Electrical divisions. The role will focus on winning new business while supporting the retention and growth of existing accounts across facilities management, retail, healthcare, education and commercial property clients. Protest emphasises long-term partnerships, nationwide compliance services, and quality delivery across electrical testing and fire safety. It’s an exciting time to join us as we continue to expand and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Generate qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, referrals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and project delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role (entry-level roles may consider fresh graduates with strong communication skills).

This is a full time role, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. A car allowance will be offered.
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
