Responsibilities
- Supervise daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service
- Lead and motivate a team of baristas, cooks, and service staff to deliver excellent customer experiences
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food storage practices
- Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all kitchen and serving areas
- Assist with menu planning, including healthy options aligned with wellness principles
- Train team members in food production, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
- Ensure the café environment remains welcoming, clean, and organized at all times
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality setting with team management responsibilities
- Strong culinary background with skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
- Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or hotel food service is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards including serving techniques and customer engagement
- Ability to lead by example with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a focus on teamwork
- Barista experience is a plus for preparing specialty beverages with precision
- Familiarity with health regulations related to food safety and sanitation practices
