Klaviyo Expert / Email Retention Specialist

We are looking for an exceptional Klaviyo Expert / Email Retention Specialist to join our growing business and help us take our email marketing, retention and customer lifetime value to the next level.
This is not a basic email marketing role. We are looking for someone who truly understands Klaviyo, customer journeys, segmentation, flows, testing, retention strategy and the tiny 1% improvements that compound over time.
We want someone who is passionate about improving customer lifetime value, increasing repeat purchases, building smarter automations and constantly looking for ways to make our email marketing perform better.
About the role
You will be responsible for helping manage, improve and grow our Klaviyo email marketing strategy, including campaigns, flows, segmentation and retention-focused improvements.
We are looking for someone who can work closely with us, understand our brand, bring ideas to the table and genuinely care about helping the business grow.
This is a flexible work-from-home role, around 18–24 hours per week, but we want someone who is committed, proactive and excited to grow with the business long term.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing and improving our Klaviyo email marketing
- Creating and optimising email campaigns
- Building, reviewing and improving Klaviyo flows
- Improving customer retention and repeat purchase rates
- Working on customer lifetime value strategy
- Segmenting customers based on behaviour, purchase history and engagement
- A/B testing subject lines, content, offers, send times and flows
- Looking for the small 1% improvements that can keep increasing performance
- Reviewing email data and reporting on what is working
- Suggesting new ideas to increase revenue from email
- Helping us create a stronger customer journey from first purchase to repeat customer

You should be:
- Highly experienced with Klaviyo
- Confident with flows, campaigns, segmentation and analytics
- Commercially minded and focused on revenue, retention and lifetime value
- Proactive and full of ideas
- Detail-focused and always looking to improve
- Comfortable testing, analysing and optimising
- Reliable, organised and able to manage your own time
- Excited to grow with a fast-moving business
- Passionate about ecommerce, customer retention and email performance
Essential experience
- Strong hands-on experience using Klaviyo
- Experience working with ecommerce brands
- A strong understanding of customer retention and customer lifetime value
- Experience creating high-performing campaigns and automated flows
- Ability to analyse performance and make data-led improvements
- Excellent attention to detail
Nice to have
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience in gifting, food, bakery, letterbox gifts or ecommerce brands
- Copywriting experience
- SMS marketing experience
- Experience improving post-purchase journeys, winback flows and repeat purchase rates
