We are HIGHLUX — a premium bespoke fitted furniture company based in Enfield, working across London and Hertfordshire. Our projects are specified alongside architects and interior designers — the standard of finish expected reflects that.
We design and install high-end bespoke furniture including fitted wardrobes, kitchens, media walls, utility rooms and bedroom furniture. Every project is installed in a finished home, for a client who has invested significantly in their space.
This is not flat-pack furniture.
This is not site carpentry.
This is not handyman work.
We are looking for craftspeople, not labourers.

Proven experience installing bespoke furniture, fitted furniture, kitchens or high-quality joinery
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Professional tools and a professional attitude
Reliable, organised and punctual
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to solve problems on site without creating new ones
Respect for clients' homes and property
Pride in your workmanship
THE REALITY OF THE JOB
Early starts and full working days
Working inside clients' finished homes
Uneven walls, uneven floors and real-world site conditions
High expectations from clients
Precision work where details matter
Working to drawings, tight tolerances and high standards
If your approach is "that will do", this position is probably not for you.
WHAT WE OFFER
Day rate of £200–£250 based on experience and capability — the right person will earn at the top end of that range
You will need your own tools and a vehicle to transport them. Project expenses covered
You will always arrive on site knowing exactly what you're fitting — drawings confirmed, materials ready, client briefed. We prepare properly so you can focus on the work

FULL-TIME OR SUBCONTRACT — YOUR CHOICE
We are building our installation team and are open to both arrangements:
Looking for regular employed work? We have ongoing project demand and are ready to bring the right person on full-time.
Already self-employed and looking to fill your schedule? We work with subcontract installers on a project-by-project basis. You choose whether to accept or decline based on your availability. Work is project-based and offered based on demand — we won't overpromise, but our pipeline is active and growing.
Either way, you will be working alongside our existing team initially, learning how we work and what our standards look like — before taking on projects independently.
