About the Role
As an HR Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. You’ll provide essential administrative and recruitment support, ensuring smooth onboarding and compliance processes for new starters. You’ll also help maintain accurate employee records, assist with training coordination, and respond to HR queries with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support recruitment activities including advertising, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
- Assist with onboarding processes: preparing contracts, offer letters, and new starter documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate HR records, including compliance checks and training logs.
- Respond to employee queries regarding policies, procedures, and HR systems.
- Coordinate training bookings and maintain training records.
- Support performance management processes including appraisals and probation reviews.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and management teams.
About You
- Previous experience in HR or office administration (preferred).
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., spreadsheets, databases).
- A proactive and approachable attitude with a willingness to learn.
