Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness standards by regularly disinfecting high-touch surfaces and ensuring hygiene protocols are followed
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability
- Follow detailed cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all designated areas are maintained to high standards
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution
- Use janitorial equipment safely and effectively, including vacuums, mops, buffers, and cleaning chemicals
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold cleanliness excellence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
- Reliable and punctual with excellent time management skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures is a plus
