Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
- Serve drinks and meals promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Ensure food safety standards are met during food preparation, serving, and handling
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff as appropriate
- Manage guest requests or complaints professionally, resolving issues quickly to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, tables, and service stations at all times
- Support with cash handling, bill processing, and accurate transaction recording
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services
- Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety regulations, and basic food preparation skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a lively setting
- A friendly attitude with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
