An exciting opportunity has opened up to join Swan Family as a Family Contact Supervisor in one of our welcoming Liverpool Children and Family Contact Centres, based in Wavertree.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supervising and supporting family time between children and their birth families — both at our centres and out in the community.
- Providing a safe, nurturing environment for children to spend quality time with loved ones.
- Observing and recording sessions accurately, highlighting positive moments as well as any concerns.
- Communicating with social workers and other professionals to ensure each child’s safety and wellbeing.
- Attending planning meetings and reviews as part of our collaborative approach.
- Always following Swan Family’s safeguarding procedures and values.
What We’re Looking For
- A child-centred, empathetic approach – you genuinely care about helping families reconnect.
- Excellent communication and observation skills, with the ability to write clear, factual reports.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or a related field) – essential.
- A current DBS for working with adults and children (we can support you with this if needed).
Desirable (but not essential)
- A full driving licence and access to a car.
