Humly is looking for passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to join schools in the above areas.
If you have experience supporting children or young people in a classroom, care, recreation, or sporting environment and want to make a difference to a difference to students’ learning and development, we would love to hear from you.
We work closely with local primary, SEN and secondary schools that require experienced support staff for short-term, long-term, day-to-day, and permanent opportunities. Your role may involve:
- Supporting students with specific educational needs on a 1:1 basis
- Assisting with whole-class learning activities
- Working independently with small groups of students
- Assisting with school events and trip
What We're Looking For
We are seeking individuals who are:
- Experienced: minimum 3 months of relevant experience working with children/teenagers (education, youth work, or care setting) within the last 2 years
- Strong communicators: high level of English comprehension and communication skills
- Professional: calm, confident, and approachable, with a positive "can do" attitude
- Engaging: able to connect with students, encourage focus, and support learning
- Reliable: committed, dependable, and able to use initiative in the workplace
- Understanding: good awareness of classroom environments and dynamics
