Job Description
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Support Worker / Carer to support a young man in his own home with mild cerebral palsy / non verbal / learning difficulties, in the Caerphilly area. He has a wonderful nature and is always smiling! We have a committed team and are looking for care professionals to join us.
He requires 1 to 1 support in all aspects of his life (personal care/eating/preparing food) and requires a wheelchair when out on trips and community outings. This position is totally focussed on the individual and providing the highest quality of care.
There are a range of hours and working patterns available:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends
- 4 / 8 /12 hour shifts
- Day shifts
Essential Criteria
- Experience in a care role, specifically 1 to 1
- Kind and patient
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player
- Enhanced DBS
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.21 per hour
