As we continue to grow our brand worldwide, we’re looking for a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and technical support to customers across the globe.
This is an exciting role for an experienced engineer who enjoys working with complex automated systems, thrives in a customer-facing environment, and is comfortable with regular travel throughout the UK, Europe and afar.
Responsibilities include:
- Servicing, maintaining, installing, and commissioning industrial systems and OEM equipment internationally.
- Providing remote technical support via phone and email
- Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics, testing and inspections
- Building electrical and mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings
- Participating in scheduled weekend support when required
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an experienced engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, comfortable working independently and representing the company on customer sites.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or Service Engineer/ Technician
- Strong electrical control diagnostics skills
- Experience working with OEM machinery.
- Competent in Microsoft Office
- PLC and computer-based diagnostics and robot programming (desirable)
What You’ll Need
- City & Guilds electrical or mechanical apprenticeship.
- ONC in an electrical or mechanical discipline (desirable).
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and a valid passport.
