Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Trainee General Manager to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a Trainee General Manager, you will work closely with senior management to learn the ins and outs of running a successful venue, ensuring exceptional customer service, food quality, and team coordination. This position also provides live in Accomadation in a central London Location
Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness standards
- Support the supervision of staff, including bartenders, servers, kitchen team members, and baristas, ensuring smooth teamwork and high performance
- Participate in training team members on food safety protocols, food production techniques, and hospitality best practices
- Help manage customer relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies
- Support the implementation of health and safety regulations within the kitchen and service areas
- Collaborate with senior managers to develop strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, bartending, or serving within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and staff
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous hotel or culinary experience is a plus; barista experience is advantageous but not required
