Chalk are seeking a Maths/SEN Teacher, who has a passion for working within SEN and making a difference.
You will be the Maths Teacher, across yr 7-11 for a small SEN school and must have experience of this .
This post starts 1st Sept and is a potential temp-perm. Plus rapid progression is on offer as the school is part of a trust.
The role includes:
- Teaching pupils with challenging behaviour/SEMH - must have experience of this .
- Delivering lessons and targeted support to a small class
- Teaching and delivering Maths Yr 7-11
- Working closely with colleagues to support planning and assessment
- Promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS/QTTLS/PTTLS
- Experience in a UK primary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach
- Sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
