Warehouse Operative

We’re looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly and accurately. Your role will involve picking and packing orders using handheld devices, as well as unloading and processing deliveries to ensure they are accurately recorded in our inventory system. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the warehouse's general upkeep to support efficient operations and uphold health and safety standards. Additionally, you will work closely with the Procurement & Operations Manager to achieve shared goals and personal targets. Maintaining the inventory system is also key, including completing inventory counts and transfers to ensure accuracy.

About You
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play an active, hands-on role in ensuring our customers receive the best experience. This position requires physical ability for tasks like moving, lifting, and packing stock, along with a keen attention to detail to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure orders are picked correctly. Strong teamwork skills are essential to achieve shared goals and meet performance expectations, while IT literacy will help you navigate and effectively use our inventory systems. Enthusiasm and a proactive approach will be key in supporting a smooth and efficient warehouse operation.
Key Skills required
- Forklift license/certification (Must be in date)
- Previous experience of inventory systems in a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience of picking and shipping orders using handheld devices.
- Positive attitude and proactive towards problem solving.
- Good organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic towards achieving team goals.
- This is a role with manual handling. Ability to lift and carry stock will be required.
