Overview
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Property Maintenance Labourer to join our growing team based in Cardiff.
This is not a construction site role. The successful candidate will work alongside our maintenance teams carrying out a variety of tasks across residential properties, housing developments, retail parks, and commercial premises.
The role involves supporting maintenance operatives, assisting with property upkeep, moving materials and equipment, maintaining clean and safe working areas, and helping ensure properties and external environments are presented to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with general property maintenance tasks
- Supporting maintenance operatives on residential and commercial properties
- Moving materials, tools, and equipment
- Loading and unloading supplies
- Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised
- Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance works
- Supporting external maintenance activities around retail parks and housing developments
- Helping maintain high standards across client properties
Skills
- General labouring and manual handling
- Basic property maintenance skills
- Ability to use hand tools and basic power tools
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials
- Supporting trades and maintenance operatives
- Basic painting, decorating, repairs, or handyman skills preferred
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Able to work across residential properties and retail parks
- Driving licence preferred but not essential
