Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Stores Person to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, handling materials, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse experience to contribute to efficient inventory management and logistics operations.
Duties Roles & Responsibilities
· Responsible for goods in ensuring that deliveries are accurately received, checked, labelled and recorded on Progress Plus.
· Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies.
· Must have a high level of knowledge with Progress Plus processes to maintain accurate stock control, allocations, and issuing of materials to Production
· Unloading and loading deliveries and internal distribution of goods.
· Supporting month end activity, including stock checks.
· Stock rotation.
· Implementing or improving processes and procedures.
· Highlighting material shortages
Key Skills & Qualifications:
· Experience of working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
· MS Office.
· Work well independently but also as a team.
· Working in adherence with Health and Safety rules.
· Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
· Good team player and excellent communicator.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
· Forklift Licence.
Pay: £12.21-£14.60 per hour
