SportyMinis is growing its presence in primary schools, and we’re looking for an ambitious sports coach who wants more than a coaching role. This is the chance to lead PE delivery in two South London primary schools, take full ownership of three after-school clubs, and play a direct part in growing this side of our business.

We’re known for structured, curriculum aligned sessions, qualified coaches, and a genuine commitment to getting children active and confident. As we grow our primary school offer, we need the right person to lead that growth on the ground.
About the role As our Primary School PE Lead, you will teach National Curriculum PE across two primary schools in South London, and take full ownership of three after-school sports clubs. Alongside delivery, you will help shape and grow this part of the business, spotting opportunities to expand our after-school and PE curriculum offer further. There is real scope to progress into management and business development as the role grows.
What you’ll do
- Deliver high quality National Curriculum PE sessions across two South London primary schools
- Plan and lead three after-school sports clubs, keeping attendance strong and every child engaged
- Build relationships with school staff, parents and pupils that keep clubs full and curriculum delivery running smoothly
- Identify and pursue opportunities to grow club numbers and expand SportyMinis’ primary school offer
- Feed insights back to the SportyMinis team to support wider business growth
- Maintain the high standards SportyMinis is known for, in every session
What we’re looking for Required:
- Experience teaching or coaching primary school PE, ideally aligned to the National Curriculum
- A genuinely ambitious sports coach looking to progress into management and business operations
- Confidence building relationships with schools, parents and children
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable taking ownership of a club or programme
Preferred:
- Experience running or growing after-school clubs
- Some interest or exposure to the business side of sport, such as enrolment or programme growth
- Relevant coaching or PE qualifications
Pay and hours
- Starting pay of £15 per hour
- Travel expenses paid
- Performance bonuses for new club and enrolment growth you bring in
- 30hrs a week. Monday to Thursday , 9am to 4:30pm, and Fridays 9-1pm
