Assembly Operator
Location: East Kilbride
Pay: £12.71 - £14.24 per hour (paid weekly)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am start
Hours Paid: 38 hours per week
Tempro Recruitment are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators to join a busy manufacturing team based in East Kilbride. This is a fantastic opportunity to work a 4-day week with competitive pay and weekly wages.
The Role
As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling a range of products to a high standard, using hand-held tools and following detailed work instructions. This role is ideal for someone with previous assembly or manufacturing experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling products using hand-held tools, including screwdrivers, glue guns and other assembly equipment.
- Reading and following assembly instructions and technical drawings where required.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area.
- Meeting daily production targets while maintaining attention to detail.
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve production deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is essential.
- Experience using hand-held tools such as screwdrivers, glue guns and similar equipment.
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- A positive attitude with a reliable and flexible approach to work.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
