The role
As a Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Test Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the delivery of complex engineering packages that support the successful commissioning of critical HVAC systems at Hinkley Point C. Acting as the vital link between design, manufacturing, construction and commissioning teams, you'll oversee major project activities, drive performance, manage risk and ensure the safe delivery of work within a highly regulated environment.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Driving the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of HVAC contract and project package activities.
Coordinating contract administration activities, including variations, technical queries, claims and instructions.
Managing project risks, programme performance, budgets, schedules and change control activities.
Liaising with suppliers, contractors, manufacturing teams and site stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and commissioning readiness.
Applying Earned Value Management principles and producing progress reports to support effective decision-making.
This role is based at Hinkley Point C and is a 37-hour per week, Monday to Friday position. Site-based working is required five days per week.
Essential experience of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Test Project Manager:
Delivering projects within technically complex, highly regulated engineering or construction environments.
Managing engineering, procurement, construction and project delivery activities across multidisciplinary projects.
Controlling project costs, schedules, risks and change management processes.
Managing contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout large-scale infrastructure programmes.
Applying project management methodologies and commercial reporting techniques, including Earned Value Management.
Qualifications for the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Test Project Manager:
Essential:
Knowledge and practical application of recognised Project Management methodologies, including Association for Project Management Body of Knowledge and/or PRINCE2.
Desirable:
Experience within the nuclear energy sector or another high-integrity industry such as offshore energy, major infrastructure or data centres.
Proficiency in estimating, scheduling, programme controls and risk management tools
Security Clearance
