Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service. This role involves coordinating vehicle repairs and maintenance, upselling additional services, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and establish a professional rapport to understand their vehicle concerns.
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing recommendations based on customer needs.
- Upsell additional services and products to maximise customer satisfaction and business revenue.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle histories.
- Follow up with customers regarding service progress and post-service satisfaction.
- Ensure the service area remains clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in a customer service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or background is advantageous to better understand vehicle repairs and communicate effectively with technicians.
- Experience in upselling services or products to customers is desirable.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
