We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, punctual Production Operative to join our team.
Forcrete is a small, family-run manufacturer of specialist surface coatings. We create and sell advanced, seamless floor and wall finishes to customers all over the world. Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and changeover procedures for different production runs.
- Preparing materials for production. Using light machinery and simple guidelines to produce products.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including quality checks and equipment issues.
- Support the movement of materials and finished products within the manufacturing area.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Work with team members to meet daily production targets and uphold quality standards.
Skills
- Proven ability to operate industrial machinery with attention to detail and safety.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for clear documentation and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting is advantageous.
- You can maintain high standards of quality even during repetitive tasks.
- Physically fit to be on your feet all day and handling heavy materials.
- You’re willing to learn new skills and move between different stations as production needs change.
Job details:
- Pay: £16 per hour
- Hours: 8am to 4pm, Monday – Friday
- Training: Full on-the-job training provided
- Start: Immediate
- Location: Wymondham, Norfolk
