We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Cleaner to join our friendly team at The Tap House.
The Tap House is a busy, welcoming bar, restaurant and accommodation venue at the heart of the community. We pride ourselves on high standards, a warm atmosphere, and creating a space our customers love coming back to. Cleanliness is a huge part of that — and that’s where you come in.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and wants consistent part-time hours in a supportive environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
- Cleaning and maintaining our bar and restaurant areas to a high standard
- Preparing and cleaning motel-style guest rooms to ensure they are spotless and welcoming
- Sanitising surfaces and ensuring all areas meet excellent hygiene standards
- Cleaning and restocking restrooms
- Managing waste disposal and recycling responsibly
- Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Working efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
What We’re Looking For
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Someone who takes pride in delivering high standards
- Good time management and the ability to work at pace
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Physical stamina for active cleaning shifts

This is a minimum wage position, you will be paid according to your age bracket set out on the direct gov website.
